Home Visual Identity Sustainability
Sustainability is important to Securitas. In certain contexts we need to communicate this quite explicitly. In these situations, we have an additional colour palette and imagery to play with.
As a core signifier of sustainability as a topic, we have a palette of three greens, tailormade to fit in with the primary colors of our identity. The colors function as context-specific replacements for the Accent color, only to be used when sustainability is the topic in focus. SEC Light Green, being quite a sharp color, can not be reproduced exactly in the CMYK printing system. It will appear in the same tone, but more muted.

The sustainability palette functions as a natural extension of the primary palette, similar to the accent color. Where SEC Navy blue and white provide the foundation for SEC Red to shine, the sustainability palette acts as a more present counterweight to the deep blues of the foundation, just as the accent color does.
The SEC Dark green is the main sustainability color, and in the appropriate context, it replaces SEC Purple as accent color.
The SEC Mid and Light green are intended for use mainly in data visualization and other graphics.
The green color palette should never be used as a large background colour.
Use no more than 30% of green palette on each layout/slide.

As shown the SEC Dark green can be used as a highlight of text
Light and open outdoor imagery with focus on green and open outdoor spaces
Context based photography with a clear depth of field to capture the human interaction
Light and bright outdoor photography with a narrow focal length focusing in on Securitas’ presence.
Open outdoor spaces with a clear reasoning, eg. solar panels, buildings, people.
The sustainability palette is used to signify the topic of sustainability across touchpoints. See below a selection of examples of the palette in use.
SEC Mid green has strong impact on dark backgrounds.
Similarly, data visualisations work well.
