Home Brand Experience Uniforms & Vehicles Uniforms
The Securitas uniforms are important representations of our brand and should give our clients a feeling of safety. Regardless of where in the world you meet a Securitas guard, you will recognise the style and profile that underlines our position as a leader in security. An important part of our uniform is functionality. This means that uniforms need to be adapted to the different tasks. Reception work is very different from industrial guarding or patrolling. Functionality also means that the quality of the fabric should reflect the working conditions and the environment. This calls for simple, yet flexible approach in the branding.
The primary color of our uniform is the SEC Navy Blue supported by our secondary palette (white and greys).
Due to functionality reasons sometimes it is not possible to use our primary color SEC Navy Blue as the base color. Regulations and limitations also differ across our different markets, so when necessary other colors might be used.
Accessories are a natural carrier for using our primary color SEC Red as a highlights.
For pattern or similar applications our Dot Space could be added to bring dynamism and energy in. Subtle placement on accessories or on the inside of different garments.
The position and size of the logotype must achieve high visibility and brand recognition from all angles. Aim to create a visual standard and minimize variation between different garments. Preferably, the logotype should be applied without any patches or other containers. When regulations and functional aspects require a patch use the same color on the patch as the background color.
When suitable and relevant, our symbol can further strengthen our brand presence through a bolder and more impactful application. It must be applied within a Securitas context.
The symbol can both be applied large as a strong brand carrier or as a more subtle sender.
When there is a need of a descriptor in relation to the logotype it is important to use a consistent treatment throughout.
As a primary treatment the logotype is embroidered or printed together with the descriptor. The descriptor in itself can be printed or applied as a patch.
The descriptor can be applied using one or two lines of text set in our brand typeface Securitas Pro.
On white or light fabric the logotype is always applied with a SEC Navy Blue wordmark and the descriptor should be applied in a SEC Navy Blue rectangle with white text. On Navy Blue or dark fabric the logotype is always applied with a white wordmark and the descriptor should be applied inverted in a white rectangle.
Due to limitations in production, a patch is sometimes necessary for both logotype and descriptor. It can either be one solid patch or two separate patches.
The color of the patch should match the fabric whenever possible. E.g. a navy blue fabric should use a navy blue patch, a white fabric should use a white patch. If the same color of patch is applied across a range of different colored fabrics, a navy blue patch should be used.
