The circle dot space should be used in much the same way as the existing dot space. It should complement content rather than dominate it and should always feel integrated into the composition.

Do
• Use on both photographic and solid-color backgrounds.
• Maintain sufficient contrast and visibility.
• Treat the element as an extension of the legacy dot space.
• Allow the circle to extend beyond the edge of the layout.

Don’t
• Show the entire circle within a composition.
• Place the element over people or key subjects.
• Use the circle dot space as a framing device around photography.
